After graduating from Frankston High School, I went to college for my BSN and took a job as a labor and delivery nurse. However, I had grown up with both of my parents both working as teachers and in administration and I knew teaching was my passion! So, after taking a couple of years off from nursing to be a stay-at-home mom and raise 4 of my 5 children, I decided to take online classes to get my teaching certificate. I have been blessed to teach 3rd grade science and social studies for the past 12 years. I also am the GT teacher for all elementary students. I coach the 4-5th robotics team. I lead our 5th grade PALS as well as our High School pals leadership group. And I coach UIL music memory for 2nd-5th grade.
