I graduated from Texas A&M University–Commerce and have spent the past 8 years in education. I chose to teach kindergarten because little ones are so sweet, honest, and full of curiosity. Watching kids learn is truly magical, and my favorite moments as a teacher are when former students stop by to see me on Meet the Teacher Night—it reminds me of the lasting impact teachers can have on their students.
My biggest role models have always been my mom and dad, and now my own kids motivate me every day to be the best teacher I can be. I love to share my passion for learning with my students, and I believe that kindergarten is the perfect place to build a strong foundation for their future.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, being outdoors, and spending time with my family. I am proud to be part of Frankston ISD—the school community here is like no other, so warm, welcoming, and supportive. It is truly a blessing to teach in such an inviting environment where both staff and students feel like family.
