The 2022-2023 school year will mark my sixth year teaching with FISD! I currently teach Biology and Chemistry to our freshman and sophomore students.
I hold a BA of Science in Animal Science, a BA of Science in Wildlife Management, and a Masters of Science in Wildlife Management.
I spent seven months in Swaziland, the northern most landlocked country in South Africa. During my time in Africa I worked locating trapping, and studying Crested Guinea Fowl. Additionally, while there, I helped with squamate surveys, vegetation, and small mammal surveys. I also worked with a herpetologist in collecting and preserving data and specimens of different snake species in the region.
I seek to engage students in learning though providing them with insight into the real world applications of the sciences they are learning.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
